Rising Together: A Woman’s Journey of Dreams and Empowerment

March is celebrated as Women’s History Month in the US, an annual observance honoring the contributions of women throughout history and in contemporary society. Here’s a special story, created right here in our community by our Indian Desi girl, that’s truly worth sharing. With her family’s support, she raises her own while guiding countless others to heal, thrive, and build a brighter future.

Shweta 'Cricket' Green, the Mumbai girl, moved across the globe 13 years ago and created something only a few can claim. She crafted 'Sew She Can' —navigating the unknown, challenging unorthodox thinking, walking an unusual path, and simply paying the price for daring to dream. And not only dreaming big, but helping other women dream even bigger!

"One inspiring story, gently told,

Turns another heart to gold.

Hands that guide, not pull away,

Make brighter paths along the way.

A whispered dream begins to fly—

When women raise each other high."

Alongside many other creative pursuits, the 'Sew She Can' initiative has blossomed into a thriving entrepreneurial venture, perfectly complementing the remarkable work she is building.

The initiative is making a difference, and you can be part of it to create a lasting impact.
